Coimbatore: Karthikeyan, who was working as a DIG in Coimbatore, has been transferred and Narendran Nair has now taken over as the new DIG in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Narendran Nair IPS, who has taken charge of Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) of Coimbatore range on Monday, has informed that stern action will be initiated against Police who misuse power.
He has replaced G Karthikeyan, who has been promoted as IG and taken charge as Tirupur Commissioner of Police.
Prior to taking charge, he planted a sapling and reassured that people's welfare will be ensured.
