PS Pandian said IG Sekar is doing a commendable job in the Sathankulam custodial death case, but on the other hand South zone IG Shanmuga Rajeswaran is not a capable hand and had he been transferred earlier, such an incident could have been averted. He commented that only if the chief is good, the officers under him could serve well.
He said that complaints on IG Shanmuga Rajeswaran have not been acted upon and the government should act fast on this.
He also said it would be AIADMK's loss if he is removed from the party. He said he has nothing against Sasikala and after her release, he would try to make her join AIADMK. He also added that AIADMK should buy him an Innova car for making them win the last elections.
