Around 2 PM, an old man was found lying dead in front of the Government Hospital Headquarters in Tirupur. However, the nurses at the Government hospital who saw this turned a blind eye to the old man.
Multiple notices regarding this were made at the Intensive Care Unit by the visitors and the patients who witnessed this. However, the hospital staff had informed them nonchalantly that due to lack of employees, the corpse would be removed as soon as concerned employees arrived.
The unknown reason for the death of the old man caused concerns among the public. During the times when the COVID-19 pandemic is raging, an abandoned corpse lying in front of the Government hospital caused panic and fear in the minds of the patients and the visitors. Finally, the corpse was removed after three hours.
