The 16-year-old girl from Virudhunagar resides with her relatives in Coimbatore. For the past few months, she has been employed at a grocery store belonging to Ramalingam, in the area. For the past few days, Ramalingam has been spewing vulgarities and talking in an obscene manner with the intent to sexually incite the girl.
Under a lot of mental stress due to this, the girl complained about it to her relatives who lodged a complaint at the Mahila Police station in R.S. Puram. Based on the complaint, a case was filed against Ramalingam, under the POCSO act.
