Considering the welfare of the traders and contributing to the measures to control the spread of COVID-19 shops in Tirupur will function between 7 AM and 5 PM from June 23 to July 1 and hotels will follow the guidelines of the government. After July 1, depending on the situation, further decisions will be made, said the notice from the All Traders' Association.
Following this announcement, utensil shops, mobile phone shops, electronic product shops and stores selling essential products such as grocery stores and other businesses will fall under this time restriction and function from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Hotels will, however, function per the guidelines issued by the government.
