COVID-19: 15 new cases in Coimbatore including three employees of GRT Jewellery
Coimbatore: According to the health officials, 15 new positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in Coimbatore district, on Sunday. Among them are three staff of GRT Jewellery here who were deputed from Chennai to Coimbatore showroom.
The total cases in Coimbatore rose to 268, as per the State health bulletin.
Patient details:
1. A 68-year-old male from Sirumugai with no travel history.
2. A 28-year-old male from Crosscut road with travel history to Chennai on June 17.
3. A 21-year-old male from Kalapatti with no travel history.
4. A 50-year-old male from Vadasittur with no travel history.
5. A 77-year-old male from Velandipalayam with no travel history.
6. A 55-year-old male from Karumbukadai with no travel history.
7. A 57-year-old female from Selvapuram with no travel history.
8. A 25-year-old male from Suleeswaranpatti, Pollachi with no travel history.
9. A 28-year-old female from Nadupuni with no travel history.
10. A 35-year-old female from Ramanathapuram with travel history from Theni, a week before.
11. A 27-year-old male from Crosscut road with travel history from Chennai by road.
12. A 42-year-old male from Crosscut road with travel history from Chennai by road.
13. A 30-year-old male from Crosscut road with travel history from Chennai by road.
14. A 25-year-old female from Annur categorised as high risk contact.
15. A 9-year-old male from Annur categorised as high risk contact.
