Coronavirus infections have been on the rise for the past few days in Coimbatore; 21 people have been infected in the last 3 days, especially in Chinniampalayam.
Hence the district administration has isolated the Chinniampalayam area and prevented people from coming to the area. Shops in Chinniyampalayam area are closed.
Similarly, the Corporation has ordered the shops to be closed at the Flower Market on Mettupalayam Road as they do not follow social distancing. Cement sheet barriers have been put in place to prevent the public from getting in.
