Two engineering college students Gokul and Ashwanth have developed an app that can be used for monitoring those placed under quarantine.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 people arriving from other districts and states are being quarantined and monitored. Additionally, those who have been in contact with the positives are also being quarantined.
The mobile app developed by the two students comes to the aid of the Health Department in monitoring those under quarantined.
The Minister for Animal Husbandry Udumalai Radhakrishnan viewed the app at the Tirupur District Collectorate, today and launched it for use. This mobile app named 'Tirupur Health Heroes' can be used to monitor those under quarantine. Any help that they might require can also be monitored and fulfilled through this app, said the developers.
