Pertaining to the Coimbatore Corporation, the number of active cases in the isolation ward is 51, the total of imported positives (other states and districts) is 22, imported positive contact cases are 3 and indigenous positives are 26.
Out of 2837 foreign, other state and other district returness, 2836 have been home quarantined with stickers pasted in front of their homes and one returnee in other facility quarantine in the city.
Around 400 tests were conducted on June 17 with more than half of them at the railway station. The positive cases on June 17 were 18 with 16 from Coimbatore corporation and 2 from other districts.
A total of 80 patients have been discharged so far.
It is to be noted that the statistics for the Coimbatore district is different from that of the city.
