To give a boost to the economy of the place the people had been requesting for a boat house and a botanical garden in Valparai for a very long time.
The Valparai MLA Kasthuri Vasu took efforts for the construction of a botanical garden at the PAP campus and a boat house near the New Bus stand.
The setup of the boat house is being undertaken in full swing currently.
Informing this, MLA Kasthuri Vasu said, "The boat house construction work will be completed in a few months and will be open for public use. The people and the traders of Valparai have expressed that their long time wish has come true due to this and they are extremely happy about it."
