Air India to bring back Indians stuck abroad in the third phase of Vande Bharat Mission

New Delhi: The COVID repatriation exercise, Vande Bharat Mission, started to bring back Indian nationals that are stuck abroad due to the pandemic crisis, has brought back 95,000 Indians so far.At present, the Mission is on its third phase, which began on June 10.

In the first phase, the Mission had got back about 16,000 Indians.

The third phase, which is also the biggest of the Mission till now, will have Air India operating over 200 flights. Apart from these, there will be 356 flights, which include the return services and domestic connections.

The airlines officials said that most of the flights in the third phase will be flying from to destinations in the USA, Europe and Australia to bring back our citizens who wish to return home.
