Condemning China, Coimbatore BJP cadres tear Chinese flags and break China-made phones
Coimbatore: BJP protested by tearing Chinese flags and breaking Chinese phones. More than 20 people have been killed in clashes between Indian and Chinese forces on the Indo-China border. Three people have died in the incident which has resulted in tension on the Indo-China border.
At this stage, protests are being conducted by the BJP at various places in Coimbatore condemning China.

A floral tribute was paid to the Indian soldiers who were killed in the clash by District Head Nandhakumar at the BJP office in Sidhapudur.

Police stopped and seized the Chinese flags that the BJP were trying to burn. Following that, the protesters broke Chinese phones in protest. This caused a stir in the area.

Similarly, in front of Coimbatore South Taluk Office, Hindu Makkal Katchi staged protests, denouncing Chinese soldiers and nationals. Protests were also held near the Singanallur bus stand on behalf of Shakti Sena.
