Man arrested near Coimbatore for threatening youth with a knife
Coimbatore: A man has been arrested for threatening a youngster with a knife at Thennampalayam area in Coimbatore.
Madan Kumar, an auto driver, is the son of Veluchami, a native of Kalipalayam, next to Coimbatore. Madan Kumar left the Hindu Munnani six months ago and joined the VHP. Following this, three people, including Shakti, a member of the Hindu Munnani, were allegedly intimidating Madhan Kumar often.
In the meantime, four people, including Shakti, who came to Madan Kumar's residence a few days ago, threatened Madan Kumar with a knife. Madan Kumar lodged a complaint with the Thudiyalur police station.
Also, a video of Shakti threatening Madan Kumar with a knife went viral on social media. Filing a case based on this, Thudiyalur police arrested Shakti and imprisoned him.
