Hindu Democratic Front protests to open temples


Coimbatore: Hindu Democratic Front protested to open temples by blowing conchs and ringing bells. All places of worship have been closed due to coronavirus throughout Tamil Nadu. Now, TASMAC outlets and shops have been given permission to operate.

Hindu Democratic Front protested nationwide today to open temples that have been closed for over 3 months and demanded that puja be offered for four times in a day to prevent mass gatherings and annadhanam too. 

As part of this protest, the members of the association blew conchs and rang bells in front of Koniamman temple in the city to take their demand to the government.
