11 people recovered and sent home at ESI hospital


Coimbatore: Eleven people, including two pregnant women who were treated for coronavirus at ESI Hospital in Coimbatore, have returned home.

Coronavirus infection has been on the rise over the past few days. However, 11 people, including two pregnant women who were treated at the ESI Hospital in Coimbatore, have been discharged home after successful recovery..

ESI Hospital Dean Nirmala said, 54 people from various parts of the country affected by coronavirus are being treated currently at the hospital. She said, the 309 people who had been treated for coronavirus at the ESI have so far recovered and not even one death has been reported in the hospital.

It should be, however, noted that we recorded the death of a 28-year-old male at the ESI yesterday.
