131 units of blood donated in Tirupur
Tirupur: Tirupur witnessed the moving gesture of 131 units of blood being donated on the World Blood Donors Day, yesterday, despite the COVID-19 lockdown.
Two Blood Donation Camps were held on behalf of the Sigaram Trust in honor of World Blood Donors Day on June 14. A team from Tirupur Government Medical College Hospital received 57 units of blood at a blood camp held in Velampalayam 15 from the alumni of Nanjappa School.
A blood donation camp at Chinnasami Ammal Secondary School in collaboration with the Dream 20 Pasumai Amaippu donated 74 units of blood to the Udumalai Government Hospital team.
Sigaram Trust congratulated the donors who honoured this noble cause.
