Mother of a 32-year-old son sought help from the Police Commissioner to find and rescue her son who she alleged was under threat from the person who loaned him money.

Kanchana (62), a resident of the Bharathi Nagar Street in Kempatti Colony lives with her differently-abled daughter Thenmozhi and son Anguraj (32). Anguraj isa married goldsmith and father of three girls.
Kanchana alleged that the Big Bazaar police had taken Anguraj for inquiry; however, when questioned, the police denied taking him to the station.
Subsequently Kanchana, along with her daughter and three grandchildren went to the Police Commissioner's office and submitted a petition to rescue her son. She also reported that Anguraj had borrowed Rs.50,000 in 2016, for a personal reason, from Nagendran, who is now insisting on a payment of Rs.8 lakhs, allegedly calculated with interest. She voiced her suspicion that Nagendran could have kidnapped her son for the money that he had to pay back.
Nagendran has been threatening Anguraj for a long time and on May 24 he had barged into their house along with henchmen and had verbally abused Anguraj, informed Kanchana. Nagendran had also shamed Anguraj asking him what was the point of him living if he could not return a loan. Further Nagendran, has also taken Anguraj's signature in a job order notebook.
Kanchana also alleged that the complaints placed at the Big Bazaar police station against Nagendran were to no avail and so she resorted to complaining at the Police Commissioner's office. Apparently, Nagendran had also gloated that his connections and wealth would not let anyone take any action against him.
She also informed that since 2016 Anguraj had been paying back for the loan by giving away Rs.5,000 from the gold jewellery work he was doing for Nagendran. She alleged that all the loan amount had been paid off. The undue pressure that was placed on her son made him attempt suicide by drinking sulphuric acid, she alleged.
When a case was filed at the Big Bazaar police station, they called Nagendran and Anguraj and settled the issue. However, now she suspecta that Nagaraj could have kidnapped her son.
She therefore submitted a petition seeking the help of the Police Commissioner in rescuing her son.
