Tirupur: The All Christian Pentecostal Congregation submitted a petition with the Tirupur District Collector to permit reopening of churches in the districts.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the lockdown all over the country has been extended until June 30. The Central government had granted permission for all religious places of worship to reopen on June 8.However, the Tamil Nadu state governmenthas not given a go-ahead for the reopening of religious places until now.

Stating that the State government is delaying in this regard, the All Christian Pentecostal Congregation insisted on granting permission to reopen churches and submitted a petition to the Tirupur District Collector.
