Tirupur: A migrant worker from Assam, working at a private loom company near Palladam was found dead due to blows to the head. Police are investigating the incident.
Nawabhaan (27) works at a private loom company in Kallampalayam near Palladam in Tirupur. He stayed at a room provided by his company along with another employee, who is also a native of Assam.
Nawabhaan was found dead around 2 a.m. today under very suspicious circumstances.
He seemed to have been hit multiple times on the head with a deadly weapon. Workers who reside in the vicinity informed the company and the police regarding this incident.
The Palladam police rushed to the spot and retrieved the corpse of Nawabhaan and sent it for autopsy to the Palladam Government hospital. On further investigation, it was revealed that Nawabhaan and his room mate got into an argument following which the he mate attacked Nawabhaan with an iron rod, multiple times.
Nawabhaan lost a lot of blood and died on the spot due to the injuries. The Palladam police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the murderer.
