Tirupur: Various Smart City projects were inaugurated in Tirupur today by the Tirupur North MLA Vijayakumar.
Various developmental projects are being undertaken in Tirupur under the Smart City initiative. A rain water drainage project worth Rs.3.6 crores was inaugurated at the S.V. Colony Main road and the 8th Street today. Similarly, primary rainwater drainage system to be constructed at a cost of Rs.2.9 crores was inaugurated at Ramnagar and Ramaiah Colony.
After inaugurating the projects, he distributed sweets to the public. AIADMK executives and functionaries were in attendance.
