Chennai West District Secretary and Chepauk constituency MLA J. Anbazhagan MLA Expired today. The Coimbatore City East District DMK In-charge and MLA, N. Karthik paid his respects to the deceased MLA, today (June 10) around 11.30 AM at the District DMK office, Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: DMK Chennai West District Secretary and Chepauk constituency MLA J. Anbazhagan MLA expired today. The Coimbatore district party leaders and cadres paid their respects to the deceased MLA.
DMK MLA J. Anbazhagan was admitted for breathlessness at a private hospital in Chromepet on June 2. He was tested positive for COVID-19 and was offered intensive treatment. He was put on ventilator support and was also given oxygen. He seemed to recover slowly, however things took a bad turn and his health deteriorated. He expired today morning.
The DMK party members paid homage to the deceased MLA. The Chief Minister also expressed his condolences on the death of the MLA. All party members have offered their condolences too.
The party leadership has informed that the party flag will be flown in half mast for three days. All party events have been postponed. Party leaders and members all over the state have been paying homage to the deceased MLA.
