Coimbatore: A part of Police Kandasamy Street in Ramanathapuram where the 27-year-old GH technician working in Physiotherapy ward was recently tested positive for COVID-19 has been isolated.
According to reports, the orthotic technician working at the CMCH physiotherapy ward recently had visited his pregnant wife at Villupuram. Four days back, he rejoined duty after isolating him for a week. After he joined today, he was subjected to COVID test and his results turned positive. He has been admitted to the Coimbatore ESI hospital for treatment.

As his house is at Police Kandasamy street in Ramanathapuram, a partial part of the street has now been partially isolated. Disinfectants are being sprayed, twice a day.
All shops in the area have been shutdown and restrictions are in place to prevent the movement of people to and from the area. All residents are being monitored.
