Manivannan, a resident of the Kozhipaalam area near Gudalur has informed that the barricade wall on the sidewalk bordering his house has developed cracks, even though it was built just four years ago.
Incessant rains for the past four days have caused the walls to crack. Manivannan raised concerns about the upcoming monsoon rains that he alleges might cause the wall to break down thereby causing his house to collapse too.
He therefore requested precautionary action be taken now and permanent solution be provided to the problem once the monsoon is over.
