Youth stabbed for refusing to lend money
Coimbatore: Police have registered against a man who stabbed a youth as he refused to lend him money. Karuppusamy (24) son of Murugesan lives in Radhakrishnan road, Tatabad. While he was sitting with his friends in Rathinapuri, Surya came in a two-wheeler and asked Karuppusamy to lend him money.
When Karuppusamy said no to him, Surya attacked him with a knife, injuring his hand, leg and ear. He then snatched Rs. 500 from him Karuppasamy and fled the scene. Following this, Karuppusamy was admitted to a private hospital with injuries. Acting upon a complaint lodged by him, Surya and his friends are being investigated by Rathnapuri police.
