Hotels reopen in Coimbatore with 50% capacity
Coimbatore: Hotels in Coimbatore are operating with 50% seating, subject to government regulations. Hotels all over Tamil Nadu, barring the ones in Red and containment zones, have been given a go-ahead to reopen from today. Restaurants closed all over India due to the COVID-19 curfew upped their shutters today.
Now that some relaxations have been announced in the 5th curfew, the Government of Tamil Nadu has given permission for hotels to be reopened in Tamil Nadu today.
Accordingly, large restaurants in Coimbatore are equipped with thermal scanners and customers with higher temperature will not be allowed.
Customers are allowed in only after hand washing.Sanitizer dispensers have been placed on all tables.
Hotels are to be operated without turning on the AC rooms and occupancy is allowed only in 50% of the seats. Social distancing norms have been followed in how dining tables are placed.
The staff have been instructed to wear masks while serving food.
