District Collector concerned over people walking without out masks
Tirupur: A video posted on the Tirupur district collector Vijaya Karthikeyan's social media page has gone viral. In the video, he says it is sad to see public walking out without a face mask.
In Tirupur district, 114 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged after successful treatment as a result of which the district is corona free and also a green zone. Emboldened by the status quo, people in Tirupur have started to move about freely.
On those lines, a large number of civilians gathered at the fish market located in Thennampalayam, Tirupur on Sunday without wearing masks and not following social distancing.
The District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan in a video said, although there are no casualties in Tirupur, all the public should adhere to the social distancing and they should be wearing face masks. He said it is sad to see too many going about without face masks. This video has gone viral.
