Valparai: CSI Trichy Tanjore Archbishop Chandrasekaran provided relief assistance to indigenous tribals of Valparai.
Gaddar, Mudavar, Pulaiyar and the Malasar people constitute the tribal population living in the dense forests of Valparai. Around 60 such tribal families in the lower Poonachchi and Vellimudi areas in the Kadarambarai area, were presented with relief packages headed by CSI Trichy Tanjore Archbishop Chandrasekaran.

The event was attended by Anaimalai Diocesan Bishop Jayaraj, Secretary to Bishop Sudarshan, Anaimalai Tiger Conservation Assistant Forest Guard Selvam, Thasildar Raja and State Department officials.
CSI Trichy Tanjore Archbishop Chandrasekaran, Valparai Municipal Commissioner Pavanraj, Police Inspector Maheshwari and Anaimalai Diocese Bishop Jayaraj provided relief assistance to 115 sanitary workers in the municipality of Valparai.
