DMK protest against ADMK for filing false cases against DMK members
Coimbatore: The Valparai DMK members staged a protest in Valparai, Coimbatore District, denouncing the AIADMK government for filing false cases against them.
Former city council president and union secretary Kozhikadai Ganesan presided over the demonstration in front of the Valparai Municipal Office.
The protesters raised slogans condemning the ADMK for filing false cases against the DMK members. Party cadres DMK trade union leader Soundara Pandiyan, former Municipal Councilors Janakiraman and Sathyavani Muthu participated in the demonstration.
Fifteen people, 11 men and 4 women, were taken into custody and detained by the police and placed in a private hall.
Valparai Inspector Maheshwari, assisted by Assistant Inspector Satishkumar, worked on the security details.
