MLA distributes relief packages on behalf of AIADMK in Coonoor


The Nilgiris: On behalf of AIADMK, Coonoor MLA Shanti Ramu distributed packages containing relief items to 2000 families in areas including Ambikapuram, Indira Nagar, Gaggan Nagar, Nari Kuzhipallam, Palathottam, Ulikkal and Selas.



The package contained vegetables for a week.

He later said, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy, Deputy Chief Minister O. Paneerselvam and Minister SP Velumani are actively working to prevent coronavirus.

"Since the beginning of the curfew, we have supplied vegetables and essentials to 82,000 people on behalf of the AIADMK based on orders by the CM and Deputy CM," he said.

The event was attended by many AIADMK executives.
