Indigo airlines introduces Charter flight service for special group needs
Coimbatore: Since the domestic flight operations have started to resume, Indigo airlines has introduced a special charter flight service to cater to the different needs of passengers. This service is also available at Coimbatore international airport.
According to sources from Indigo airlines, "In order to cater different needs of the passengers especially those who are planning to go as a group to attend marriage etc. Indigo airlines has introduced a special scheme under the name ' Your Scheme our Charter'.
Under this special initiative, Interested passengers can login to our website and under charters link, they can select the date of their journey, total number of passengers , return journey date, destination etc. “
“We provide different types of flight services. ATR flights can be used for 72 passengers. We also have other types of aircraft which can accommodate 180 passengers, another type which can accommodate 214 passengers and more. Based on the route, time, total number of halts in between the journey we will provide the options.
This service will be given strictly based on the government's guidelines. Service will not be provided for the restricted States or cities.Any individual or groups can make use of this scheme. Rather than booking seats and availing boarding passes individually. all of them can avail as a group.
In order to help the passengers, we have formed 'Charter Team'. They will guide the passengers in all aspects such as date of services available and charges.
We have started getting enquiries at Coimbatore airport but till now no confirmations have been done. But we expect bookings soon from this region." Indigo sources added.
