Coimbatore: The culprit who placed meat in front of 2 temples on Sullivan street has been nabbed by a special police team. The policemen were appreciated for their swiftness in nabbing the culprit.
A miscreant placed meat in front of the Venugopala Krishnasamy temple and Yoga Anjaneyar temple on Sullivan street within the jurisdiction of the B-1 Big Bazar Street police station.
Following this, the temple trustees filed a complaint and police registered a case. To maintain the general peace of the city Police Commissioner Sumith Saran ordered special teams to be formed under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner (L&O).
On the very same day the incident occurred, the culprit S. Ramprakash (48), son of Shanmugam, 78, Brindhavan Nagar, Kavundamplayam, Coimbatore was arrested.
The Commissioner lauded the swift action of the special team in nabbing the culprit and presented them with certificates of appreciation. He praised their efforts in bringing laurels to the Coimbatore Police Department.
