Bus service resumes in Valparai.
Coimbatore: Bus services were suspended due to the lockdown resumed today in Valparai, Coimbatore. Currently, the Government of Tamil Nadu has relaxed the transport restrictions.
The government announced that buses can operate with 60 percent of passengers with face masks with frequent sanitation.
On the wake of this announcement, morning the buses at Valparai State Transport Corporation's office were disinfected to begin operation this morning. A total of 10 buses with 4 buses on the Valparai-Pollachi route and 6 buses on the Chinnakallar, Sekkalmudi, Villoni, Vellamalai, Top Highforest and Akkamalai routes began their operations.
Even though their service has resumed, the buses are running empty as people were not informed. Transport corporations said the number of buses would be gradually increased once the requirement increases.
