Sikander Basha of the STPI organisation, from the Bilal Estate area in Ukkadam, has been arrested in connection with spreading defaming news about TN Chief Minister. He operates a Facebook page under the name Agni Paravai.
In a complaint filed by Kumaresan, a Bharat Sena organisation member, at the Rathinapuri Police station, it was noted that Sikander Basha has posted many derogatory posts about the Chief Minister and various Hindutva associations.
Following the complaint, police conducted investigations and registered cases against him under various sections including the intention to create riots, dissemination of false information and the intent to disrupt public peace. Further inquest is on.
