Coimbatore: In a tragic incident today near Sulur, a 23-year-old pregnant woman helping her husband in their saw mill was caught in a wood sawing machine and died.
Adarshana Packaging Mill is a sawing business owned by Dharmaraj from Ponnappa Nagar in the Sulur-Kalangal road near Coimbatore. Kalpana (23), the pregnant wife of Dharmaraj was working with him in a sawing machine when she was caught in it due to which she lost balance and fell in. Her head was severed and she died on the spot.
The Sulur police have registered a case regarding this gory accident and are conducting an inquest.
