Complaint lodged with Superintendent of Police against Palladam SI
Tirupur: In a complaint lodged by Nagore Meeran from Tirupur, he has requested the Tirupur SP to take action against the Palladam SI for ignoring his complaint and instead taking sides with the accused.
In his complaint through a registered post to the Palladam police station on January 20, Nagore Meeran has requested action against RTO Satyamoorthy who allegedly stole Meeran's documents from Palladam police station and used it illegally at the Human Rights Commission. Despite attaching all the relevant proofs regarding the misdemeanour with the complaint, there was no action. He sought clarification online regarding inaction on April 23 and, with no response, again on May 12.
In his complaint to the SP, Meeran said, "I was shocked by the response of the Palladam Police Department, on May 24, to my two online complaints. They had stated that they summoned Satyamoorthy over my complaint and inquired him following which Staymoorthy had given a written statement saying that he has forgotten from whom he received 71% of the copies he has on Nagore Meeran. The police stated based on this statement they have quashed the action on my complaint."
In his letter to SP he stated that the response by the Palladam police was unacceptable as he already had a written statement from Satyamoorthy that he received copies of documents after a requisition letter to the Palladam police and hence the response by the Palladam police is quite strange.
He has questioned The Palladam police whether it is possible for anyone to take documents from the station without their knowledge. He also said that the police have acknowledged receiving FIR copies on Satyamoorthy and it is their duty to find out where the copies were obtained from.
He said the action of Palladam police is questionable and against law as they are trying to cover up something that the accused himself had accepted doing. He said the Palladam Police Inspector should be held responsible for this.
In his letter, he has requested the SP to initiate action against Palladam SI for denying him justice and has further warned of taking the issue to the court if no proper action is taken.
