Tirupur: Hindu Munnani protested in front of temples in a unique way demanding reopening of temples in Tirupur.



Hindu Munnani State Leader KadeswaraSubramaniam led the protest in front of the Eashwaran temple in Tirupur where they lit camphor and performed 'thoppukaranam,' demanding the government to initiate action to reopen the temples shut on March 24 due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Hindu Munnani said that the government that has opened TASMAC shops should also reopen the temples and said they would protest to urge the government to take necessary action in this regard.
