Twenty-one Tamil workers returning from other states isolated near Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Twenty-one Tamil workers returning from other states were isolated near Coimbatore today. Workers from various states like Gujarat, Maharashtra and Mumbai have returned to Tamil Nadu today.
Among them, 21 people, including three women from the Coimbatore district, have been isolated in a camp set up in Annur.
They will be kept isolated for two days in Sasurie Engineering College, in Kariyampalayam, near Annur and undergo COVID-19 tests and sent home based on the results.
All who arrive in Tamil Nadu are subjected to tests around 7 a.m. and made to stay isolated for two days. Upon receipt of test results, they are being sent home. However, authorities insist they stay isolated for a few days.
