Youth arrested for threatening girlfriend
Coimbatore: Police arrested a youth for threatening his girlfriend for money.
Nivetha (23), the daughter of M.P Rohini from Sundarapuram, Coimbatore and Krishnakumar (25), son of Mani from Ramaswamy Konar road, Matchampalayam who were in love broke up the affair four months ago.
Following this, Krishnakumar started verbally abusing and threatening Nivetha. He demanded Rs. 5 lakhs from her and threatened to upload pictures of the two taken together in social media were he not paid.
Nivetha filed a complaint at the Kuniyamuthur police station following which Krishnakumar was arrested and imprisoned after a trial.
