District Chief Judge distributes relief cheques to lawyers in Tirupur


Tirupur: Principal District Judge (PDJ) S. Alli on Wednesday distributed relief cheques to lawyers in Tirupur.

Several bar councils across the nation have announced to provide financial aid to its members who have been adversely impacted by the ongoing coronavirus-triggered nationwide lockdown period. In this backdrop, in an event held in Lakshmi Nagar in Tirupur, relief cheques were distributed to 131 lawyers.



A total of 131 lawyers including 95 from Tirupur and Palladam area were presented with cheques of Rs. 4000 by PDJ S. Alli, sponsored by the Tamil Nadu/Pondichery Bar council, Tirupur Bar Association and Tirupur Advocate Association.



The event was attended by members of Bar Council, Bar Association and Advocate Association.
