Private school in Ooty sealed for conducting entrance exam violating curfew


The Nilgiris: Upon receiving information that Antony's English Medium Matriculation School in Ooty was conducting an entrance exam, the officials sent the students and teachers away and sealed the school for violating curfew.

It has been reported that the school was kept open for the past few days for admission of new students.



After receiving information about this from the public, the revenue officials and the municipal authorities inspected the school and found that entrance exam was being conducted for a 4th standard student.

Following this, the teachers and school administration were strictly warned and the officials sealed the school and took the keys with them.
