Forest Department inspect leopard movement in Valparai
Coimbatore: Forest department today inspected leopard movement in Valparai, Coimbatore an area that has a rich wildlife.Video footages of leopard movement Valparai Government Medical Center and Gagan Colony have doing rounds social media for quite sometime now.
Following this, the Forest Department led by Valparai Forest Department Chairperson, Senthil Kumar, and Forest Officer, Muniyandi, conducted a study in the Government Medical Center area. Later, they met with the doctors and nurses at work and advised them on safe disposal of medical waste.
They also inspected the areas near Pudhumarket near the MLA office and Gagan Colony. They insisted the public should avoid night walks and should properly bury meat product waste. They assured that the forest patrols in the area would be intensified.
