Former minister Pongalur Palanisamy distributes relief packages to 2000 tea estate workers in Valparai
Coimbatore: Former Minister Pongalur Palanisamy distributed relief packages to 2000 tea estate worker families. Various political parties have been providing relief aid to tea plantation workers, in Valparai, who have been affected by the curfew that has been implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On those lines, groceries and vegetables were supplied by former DMK minister Pongalur Palanisamy to 2000 families of Rottikadai, Iyyarpady, JE Bungalow, Karumalai, Akkamalai and Ussimalai Tea Estates near Valparai.
Former minister Pongalur Palanisamy, district secretary Tendral Selvaraj, city secretary Palpandi, LPF trade union leader Soundarapandian, and Ambikai Subbiah were among those present.
