Coimbatore: Customers were awestruck by a 57-kg tiger fish displayed for sale at a fish shop in Olympus. People kept thronging the shop to take a look at it.
Since the lockdown norms have been eased, the sale of commodities have gone up in the city shops. Arrival of fish from out of districts has also increase. However, fish export has not been permitted yet, leading to arrival of export quality fish in the market.
This being the case, a fish shop in Olympus displayed a whopping 57-kg 'Tiger Fish', export quality fish for sale. Regular customers who visit the shop were amazed by such a humongous fish.
Proprietor of the shop, Kabir, said, "usually fish such as Vanjaram and Vaval are commonly sold in the shop. Due to the lack of export the Tiger Fish has come here for sale."
