The CM of TN has tweeted requesting the support of the industries and businesses during these trying times and said, "Industries and businesses will reopen in tough times. They must therefore abide by the rules laid out by the government completely. The government requests the cooperation of all the people in ensuring the industrial development and job security."

They must therefore abide by the rules laid out by the government completely. The government requests the cooperation of all the people in ensuring the industrial development and job security."
"The scheme offering instant loans to MSMEs without collateral security has been allotted Rs.200 crores as announced on March 31 under the CORUS scheme. Until today 799 MSMEs have been granted Rs.102 crores loan", he said.
He further said, "The TN government has written to the Union Finance minister requesting SIDBI to grant the required amount to the TIIC in order to provide the loans to businesses. The government is keen to make use of this opportunity to improve the benefits to the MSMEs. The uncertainty experienced at these difficult times is causing many industries from all over the world to move their operations to India. To attract these investments a team has been formed under the Chief Secretary which includes government officials and trade association members of Japan, Singapore, Korea, America and Taiwan."
The government is primarily focusing on four areas and the authorities have been asked to focus on these areas.
1. All the necessary help to rescue trade organisations from the crisis caused by the pandemic will be extended.
2. Attract new investments.
3. To simplify and grant approvals quickly
4. Ease out the regulations for granting loans thereby increasing the cash flow of industries
5. Entrepreneurs will be granted an appointment with the C M within 24 hours and in the meantime meet with the Chief Secretary.
6. A special consolidation will be made for medicine, security, electric vehicles, ESDM and textile industries.
