EB worker Edwin Suresh was electrocuted on Friday while he was working on fixing a faulty electrical line in Coonoor.
The Nilgiris: EB worker Edwin Suresh was electrocuted on Friday while he was working on fixing a faulty electrical line in Coonoor.
Edwin Suresh, a resident of the Ottupattarai area and an employee of the Electricity Board in Coonoor was working on fixing a faulty connection in the Alwarpet area. He was working on the an electric pole to fix a power cut. Unfortunately, sudden surge of power hit Edwin Suresh and he was electrocuted.
The Coonoor Police retrieved the mortal remains of Edwin Suresh and sent it to the Coonoor Government Hospital for autopsy. A case has been registered by the Coonoor Police and investigation is underway.
