Department of School Education planning to convert all secondary schools into Std 10 exam centers

The Department of School Education has planned to convert all the secondary schools into exam centers for the public exams. If implemented, 12,000 schools will have to be converted into exam centers.


Coimbatore: The School Education Department has planned to convert all the secondary schools into exam centers for the public exams. If implemented, 12,000 schools will have to be converted into exam centers.

Each exam hall will be allowed to seat only 10 students and all the teachers under the Department of School Education will be involved in exam duty.

Currently, 12,000 schools have 10th standard students, who will be appearing for the public exams and all of them will be converted into exam centers said the Department.
