Coimbatore: As tipplers in Tamil Nadu prepare to cheer the resumption of liquor sales from tomorrow, May 16, the State government has announced new set of restrictions to avoid non-compliance of lockdown norms at the TASMAC outlets.
The TASMAC outlets will function between 10 AM and 5 PM and 500 tokens will be issued at each shop. Masks are mandatory to the boozers who throng the shops and they have to adhere to strict social distancing norms.
However, TASMAC outlets across Chennai City Police limits and Thiruvallur Police limits will remain closed.
