Relief Aid provided in Coonoor on behalf of BJP
The Nilgiris: On behalf of the Nilgiris district BJP, its district secretary Pappannan distributed essential items including vegetables to the families affected by the lockdown. The party has been providing various essential items including food for the people of the district for the past 45 days.
As part of this, people in the Kattery area, where most of the underprivileged live, were provided with vegetables, rice and other essentials. Approximately 100 families were selected and provided with essential commodities including rice, lentils free of charge.
The BJP district secretary, Pappannan, said that the public will be given free assistance until normalcy returns.
