Minister SP Velumani distributed PPE kits and relief materials to COVID warriors
Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani distributed full-body protection kits to doctors and nurses indulged corona preventive measures and distributed relief materials to sanitary workers in the Coimbatore Corporation office.
District Collector K. Rajamani, Corporation Commissioner and Special officer Sravan Kumar Jadavat, MLAs PRG Arunkumar, Amman K.Arjunan, A.Shanmugam, VC Arukutty, VP Kandasamy, OK Chinnaraj, V Kasturi Vasu, andDeputy Corporation Commissioner Prasanna Ramaswamy were also present.
1000 doctors, nurses and sanitary workers were provided with full body kits, 7500 corporation sanitary workers and others were provided with relief materials by Minister SP Velumani.
Minister SP Velumani said, "under the guidance and advice of the Chief Minister, various preventive measures and relief measures are being carried out on a timely basis to prevent coronavirus infection. He congratulated everyone, the officers, doctors, nurses and cleaners who are working tirelessly to make Coimbatore district free of coronavirus."
He said "everyone should work diligently and asked the public to wear masks and maintain social distancing."
Urban Welfare Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar, Assistant Commissioners Sundarajan (Bureau), Annadurai (Revenue), Zonal Assistant Commissioners Senthil Kumar Ratnam, T.R.Ravi, Mahesh Kanakaraj, AJ SenthilArasan, M Selvan, Public Relations Officer R.Mathiyazhagan, Assistant Urban Welfare Officer, Dr. Vasanth Divakar were present at the event.
