Actor Vijay Sethupathi’s fans file a petition to remove the mischievously edited video being circulated online
Coimbatore: Vijay Sethupathi's fans have lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore Police Commissioner demanding the removal of a mischievously edited video of actor Vijay Sethupathi posted by some on the internet. Gokul, a fan of actor Vijay Sethupathi, who lives in Ponnaiarajapuram, Coimbatore, has filed a complaint with the Coimbatore Municipal Police Commissioner.
Actor Vijay Sethupathi was speaking on stage last year on a private television show called Namma Ooru Hero where he quoted a joke by late actor Crazy Mohan. In this case, the video has been completely reversed and edited like it is spoken against Hindus. As a result, some Hindu supporters on social media have been slandering Vijay Sethupathi and his family.
He further said that “Vijay Sethupathi's reputation has been tarnished by such motivated attacks.” He said Actor Vijay Sethupathi is in no way violating Hindu norms and religious principles.
So they filed a petition to immediately remove the comments and the false video posted against him on the internet.
